Cloud infrastructure, backend systems and APIs

Reliable infrastructure starts with an understanding of the services that depend on it. We design the backend, integrations and operating model around actual traffic, data flows and recovery requirements.

Discuss this project

Problems we can help solve

Connect fragmented services

Give existing applications clear interfaces and predictable data flows. Define API contracts, ownership, error handling and how changes move safely between connected systems.

Prepare a platform for dependable operation

Address capacity, deployment and observability before a release becomes an operational burden. Make it possible to detect failures, understand their impact and recover deliberately.

What the project can deliver

  • An architecture and integration map with service boundaries and data ownership.
  • Backend services, API contracts and deployment configuration suited to the agreed environment.
  • Monitoring, load-test findings and operating and recovery procedures.

Questions before development

Can existing systems remain in use?

Often they can. The migration plan identifies which components stay, which need interfaces and which should be replaced. Phased releases can reduce disruption when the systems permit them.

Is a particular cloud provider required?

No provider is assumed at the outset. Existing contracts, data-location requirements, team experience and service needs guide the choice of cloud, private infrastructure or a mixed environment.

How do you plan capacity and recovery?

We agree on expected workloads and recovery objectives, then test the important scenarios. Capacity and recovery plans describe assumptions and limits; they are revised when actual usage changes.
